No Alternative

Demo
The release of "Not Amused", a raw sounding cd with a total of nine songs on it. These guys definitely have potential, but there are a few aspects that, as a band, need to be worked on. The songs are somewhat repetitive but catchy at the same time. Their description of the band fits well, now that I have heard them. I was never really aware of what grunge and punk would sound like together. This band has incorporated the grunge vocals with the power chords of punk. I can't be sure where this album was recorded, but I can say that it is not of the best quality, and as such, it somewhat takes away from the music, as is the case with any dire recording. I'm certain if these guys were able to cut an album at a reputable recording studio, it would turn out even better. I also noticed quite a few parts of various songs that require more back up vocals. I hope they decide to consider this. I would very much enjoy reviewing their next album, as I'm sure it is going to exceed the boundaries of this most recent one.
