I am sure you all remember
Goodtime Charlie, well, Barry (Vocals/Guitarist) has started a new band
called Meadowvale. These guys are kickin ass so far. I saw them practice
and I was shocked at how good they sounded. They will be releasing a
CD soon, and mp3s will be available on mp3.com. For now, visit their

- Silent Majority Wasting Time? |
Silent Majority have
a skankin' new CD with the song "Wasting Time" which hit the top ten
list on the mp3.com ska chart. This CD is called Cruel Daze and will
be released sometime in early June. These guys are straight outta Scarborough,
and include everything from reggae, ska, horns, punk and a dj into their

Sorry for the whole
week without an update there. I've been super busy, and every other
night is a Leaf game.. Sorry to you Ottawa fans.. but GO LEAFS GO! We've
got 3 or 4 new cd's that are currently being reviewed, and will be posted

- Not By Choice/Jersey opens for Pennywise! |
Both Not By Choice and
Jersey tore up the stage friday night as they opened for Pennywise.
What a great line up. If you missed this show, or any big punk show,
check out kidwithcamera.com for some excellent snap shots. Tune in to
the edge 102's Punk-O-Rama tonite. The Cheap Suits will be on air to
talk about their bands, as well as some upcoming shows, such as the
one at the Leslie/Cummer Skate Park with 14 Carrots Sold.

- Billy Talent Tears it Up before Dashboard |
For those of you who
have never heard of Billy Talent before, they were the ones who opened
for Dashboard Confessional on Friday at the Phoenix. This was one of
the best shows I have ever been to. A calm crowd, but definitly not
a quiet crowd. I think ever single person in the building was singing
along to Dashboards songs. I know Dashboard has nothing to do with Ontario
bands, but they put on a fantastic show. I have added Billy Talent to
the list, so for those of you who missed the show, go check out their
stuff.
14 Carrots Sold will
be playing at the Leslie/Cummer Skatepark in North York, and they need
a band to open. So if any bands are interested in swapping shows, email
